Firstly, guys, thank you very much to those of you using my social slider and sharing my site! If you want me to return the favor, just leave a comment and I’ll come check out your site and click your sharing buttons.

FYI: That is the “slick social slider” WordPress plugin and it is free. You can customize it quite a bit, and I’m a big fan. It’s a great way to start getting viral social media traffic to your sites, and if you are promoting offers on your site, it will help with conversions. People who see others have been to your site that liked/shared it are more likely to trust your site and your offers.

Another WordPress “Tweak” To Help With SEO/Conversions

Let me just jump right to it. The performance of your sites has a great impact on ranking and conversions. And… I’m talking specifically about page loading times.

You can check in your Google Webmaster Tools account to see how long it takes the GoogleBot to crawl your pages, but let’s just get real – faster is always better…

WordPress Site Performance (GWT)

You want your WordPress sites to load as fast as possible because it will give you a slight edge over your competition in the search engines, but it will also help with conversions and bounce rate. If it takes too long for a page to load, people are going to click off of your site before they even get a chance to see what you’ve got to offer.

WordPress Plugin – W3 Total Cache

The WordPress plugin called “W3 Total Cache” is another free plugin that’s a must have for myself. I’ve noticed it to greatly improve the page load times of my WordPress sites, but it must be configured properly, and that is why I’m going to give you the config file that you just upload and makes speeding up your sites a cinch!

Go ahead and download the WordPress plugin by searching for “W3 Total Cache”, and then download this config file to instantly optimize all configurations for the best performance.

So after you’ve installed the W3 Total Cache WP plugin, click on “settings” and scroll all the way down to the bottom. Choose to upload the config file and select the file you downloaded from this  site. Once completed, you can just exit out of that dialogue box that pops up because everything is all set… See? It’s a walk in the park!

I recommend that you use Host Gator hosting for this.

I have personally tried many different web hosting providers in the past and ended up paying too much for too many crashes, “internal server errors”, and general downtime.

I was really scared to switch my money-getting sites over to another hosting provider, but it’s actually very simple, quick, and there is no downtime for your sites. You can read this article to learn how to do it yourself, or after you’ve signed up for Host Gator, they will actually help you do it without a hitch!

It really sucks to have your WordPress sites down because of the affiliate commission you might be missing (or sales of your own products)… but the worst part is that you will NEVER know how much it was…

As you know, I’m a huge fan of Host Gator web hosting because they are the cheapest and most reliable service I have tried… and I’ve tried a LOT of them.

They also make it extremely easy to install WordPress (literally with one click), and they always send out helpful emails to increase the overall performance of your sites.

Many of you (who have read my free e-book on SEO and organic traffic) know that I swear by Host Gator hosting because of the reliability, support, and the fact that it is SUPER cheap with the discount. I mean… I pay $2.95 per month and get to host unlimited domains and email accounts.

It took two ClickBank sales to cover an entire year’s worth of hosting for me with iPage, and one of my WordPress sites makes that on average in one day.

Anyhow… you guys know that you can contact me with any questions in the comments below, and I wanted to say thanks again for using my Slick Social Slider (on the right). And… don’t forget to download that free WordPress plugin for your own sites to help get more exposure!
